Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using We Got A Thing (“the Site,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher). By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not perform perfect age verification. Anyone under 21 is prohibited; accounts of underage users will be terminated and we may cooperate with law enforcement.

3. What We Are / What We Are Not

We Got A Thing is an adult matching and arrangement platform for working-age adults. Users create profiles, set visibility rules, and may connect for companionship, mutual help with practical needs (rent, bills, company), or other honest adult arrangements on terms they negotiate themselves.

We do not:

• Verify identities, backgrounds, or claims
• Guarantee safety, compatibility, or honesty of any user
• Handle, escrow, or facilitate payments between users
• Operate as an escort service, prostitution marketplace, or commercial sex platform
• Guarantee that any offline interaction will be safe or lawful

Everything that happens offline is solely between the users involved. You assume all risk.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Offer, solicit, or arrange commercial sex work, escort services, or explicit payment-for-sex transactions through the Site
• Involve or attempt to involve anyone under 21
• Engage in coercion, trafficking, fraud, threats, harassment, stalking, or doxxing
• Post content that violates law or these Terms
• Misrepresent your age, identity, or intentions in a way that harms others
• Circumvent visibility, photo, or safety controls

Violation may result in permanent ban, content removal, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

5. User Content & Reporting

You own the content you post (profile text, photos, messages). You grant us a license to host, display, and process it as needed to operate the service. We do not pre-screen all content. Report violations via the in-app tools or wolf@trustthewolf.com. We may remove content or accounts at our discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability & Assumption of Risk

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any user interactions, arrangements, meetings, financial exchanges, physical harm, emotional distress, scams, theft, assault, or any other outcome that occurs offline or as a result of using the Site.
• We are not liable for data breaches, service interruptions, or loss of data (we are a small operation; act accordingly).
• Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount (if any) you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

You meet people from the internet at your own risk. If something goes wrong offline, that is between you and the other person(s).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your content, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.

8. Data & Future Uses

See our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated / anonymized data and, where permitted, train models on non-identifiable or consented data.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Small claims court remains available where applicable.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted with a new “Last updated” date.
